Experienced designing production-ready blockchain systems, SDKs and developer platforms with Rust, Solidity and TypeScript.

- **Smart Contract:** Ink!, Solidity, Bitcoin/CKB Scripts, OpenZeppelin, Foundry, Plutus. - **Protocol Infrastructure:** Wallets, Account Abstractions, Session Auth, Cross-chain, Runtime Integrations. - **Technologies:** Substrate, Viem, Ethers, Polkadot API, Serverless, Postgres, React, Bash, Rust.

## Web3 Projects

### [PolkaBill Protocol](https://github.com/bolajahmad/polkabill-protocol) - A distributed stablecoin-based subscription and payments protocol for EVM wallets Designed a decentralized subscription protocol enabling merchants to accept stablecoin payments directly from users' wallets across multiple EVM-compatible networks without relying on centralized billing providers. - Architected a cross-chain recurring payment protocol coordinating merchant settlement, subscription lifecycle management and wallet-native payment authorization. - Built reusable TypeScript SDKs and merchant integration libraries simplifying protocol adoption across frontend applications and backend services. - Developed a full-stack management dashboard enabling users to manage subscriptions while providing merchants with payment analytics and billing administration. - Designed the protocol architecture to minimize cross-chain settlement latency while preserving verifiable payment execution and user ownership of funds. *Expertise: Smart Contracts, Cross-chain Systems, Wallet, SDK Development, Solidity, React*

### [Decentralized Agentic Payments](https://github.com/bolajahmad/decentralized-agentic-payment) - Machine-native payment infrastructure for autonomous agents Designed a payment protocol enabling AI agents to securely purchase APIs and digital services through user-controlled wallet authorization and verifiable on-chain settlement. - Implemented Solidity smart contracts supporting session-scoped authorization and programmable spending limits for autonomous agents. - Designed a proof-based settlement mechanism reducing on-chain transaction overhead through batched payment commitments while preserving payment verifiability. - Built JavaScript SDKs and CLI tooling allowing wallet owners to configure, monitor and audit agent payment activity in real time. - Integrated the protocol with LLM-driven agent workflows, enabling autonomous payment execution through conversational interfaces and developer tooling. *Expertise: Account Abstraction, Wallets, Session Auth, Solidity, SDK, Development, x402, MCP, Express, Goldsky/TheGraph*

### [PVM Runtime Precompiles](https://github.com/bolajahmad/dot-crypto-precompiles-primities) - Developer tooling for Substrate-native runtime cryptography. Built developer tooling exposing native runtime cryptographic precompiles to Solidity developers, enabling access to advanced cryptographic operations without reimplementing them inside smart contracts. - Developed Rust libraries implementing encoding, decoding and payload generation for BLS12-381, Schnorr signatures and additional runtime cryptographic primitives. - Built Solidity helper libraries exposing strongly typed interfaces for runtime precompiles, significantly simplifying contract integration with native runtime functionality. - Designed reusable CLI tooling generating deterministic payloads, test vectors and validation data for smart contract development and protocol testing. - Improved the developer experience for Revive-compatible runtimes by providing a complete tooling layer spanning Solidity libraries, Rust crates and command-line utilities. *Expertise: Runtime Engineering, Cryptography, Rust, Solidity, Developer Tooling, Polkadot SDK*

## Professional Experience

### Lead Frontend Engineer **Smarkt** Jan 2025 — Nov 2025 - Led frontend development across blockchain products, designing production interfaces for wallet connectivity, token trading and on-chain asset management. - Built user workflows for the Coinnekt ERC-20 ecosystem including token purchases, staking, liquidity provisioning and portfolio management. - Established reusable frontend architecture and integration patterns that accelerated delivery across multiple blockchain products.

### Blockchain Engineer **RegionX** Jul 2025 — Oct 2025 - Built a Rust-based notification service monitoring Polkadot Coretime events using SubXT and Substrate APIs. - Developed full-stack features supporting RegionX's Coretime marketplace, integrating React interfaces with Rust backend services.

### Software Engineer **Outliant** 2022 — 2024 - Built production web applications spanning e-commerce, digital assets and immersive virtual experiences using React, TypeScript and AWS. - Contributed to early blockchain initiatives including NFT marketplaces, wallet integrations and digital asset management during the emergence of Ethereum NFT ecosystems. - Developed scalable serverless APIs and cloud infrastructure supporting customer-facing applications while improving deployment automation and operational reliability.

## Open Source & Contributions

### Open Source **[Polkadot SDK](https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot-sdk/pulls/bolajahmad)** - Contributed improvements to runtime development tooling, XCM weight generation, procedural macros and developer experience within the Polkadot SDK. **Fiber Network** - Contributed infrastructure improvements and explored developer tooling around watchtower services, wallet integrations and payment network infrastructure. ### Technical Writing ([Portfolio](https://vercel.com/bolajahmads-projects/portfolio-app/8mTzwq1yhYb1FcVN1GvEradbVY69/writing)) Published technical articles covering blockchain protocols, smart contracts, cryptography and developer tooling across Ethereum, Bitcoin, CKB and Polkadot. ### Technical Programs **_Bitshala Bitcoin Bootcamp_**: - Implemented Bitcoin transactions, Script execution, wallet generation and protocol internals through Rust-based engineering exercises.
