Two-day hands-on developer program introducing experienced Web3 builders to advanced smart contract development on Polkadot Hub and cross-chain application development with XCM. The sessions progressed from building Rust and ink! smart contracts to connecting contracts and applications across Polkadot parachains.
Led a community session in Abuja introducing developers and blockchain enthusiasts to building on Polkadot, with a focus on Solidity smart contracts, Polkadot Hub, interoperability, ecosystem tooling, and the kinds of decentralized applications developers could build for the upcoming Sub0 hackathon.
Two-part technical series introducing blockchain developers to software development in the Polkadot ecosystem and guiding them through a live Rust and ink! smart contract implementation. The sessions combined ecosystem onboarding, developer tooling, environment setup, smart contract architecture, live coding, and debugging.
Delivered a non-technical talk on what Web2 engineers need to understand and unlearn to settle into Web3 engineering quickly, covering mental models, ecosystem orientation, and a practical first-steps roadmap.
Designed and delivered a five-day advanced technical track within the Web3Bridge blockchain development bootcamp, mentoring Web3 developers through Rust and ink! smart contract engineering on Polkadot and Substrate-based chains. The curriculum progressed from contract storage and SCALE encoding through cross-contract calls, XCM concepts, testing, compiled contract testing, and frontend integration with Polkadot API.
Led a full-day, hands-on workshop for Solidity developers in the ALX community, covering the groundbreaking Polkadot update that enables writing smart contracts directly on-chain using Solidity, and how existing Solidity tooling carries over to Polkadot with minimal friction.
